Pesto Sauce:

2 cups fresh basil leaves

3 cloves of garlic, chopped

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1/4 cup roasted pine nuts or walnuts

1 package of Angel Hair

2 T extra virgin olive oil

1/2 cup whole pine nuts

Juice of ½ fresh lemon

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

fresh basil for garnish

salt and freshly ground pepper

 

            

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

     

                   

Pesto Sauce:

1. Clean basil and place in food   processor, chop well. Scrape sides            & add garlic & nuts then blend well.      Add half of the Parmesan cheese and  blend while slowly adding half of the    olive oil. Stop processor and scrape     sides often.

2. Add remaining ingredients until a    paste is formed. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Refrigerate while    making pasta.

 

Pasta:

3. Put pot of water on to boil for pasta.

4. Heat medium sauté pan then add olive oil. Stir in pine nuts to brown in the oil.
